Getting started

Azure sessions

Assume drives the Azure CLI for you — sessions sign az in against your tenant and keep it scoped to the subscription you picked.

Prerequisites

The Azure CLI (az) must be installed — it's what your tools authenticate through.

Connect your tenant

  1. 01Add an Azure integration with your tenant ID and sign in through Entra ID.
  2. 02Sync — each subscription you can reach becomes a session.
  3. 03Start one. Assume logs the az CLI in and selects that subscription.

Switching

Starting a different Azure session re-scopes az to that subscription. Stopping logs it out.
